Joinerwise

For joinery shops, shopfitters and cabinetmakers

Design a slat screen. Get the cut list, drawings and drilling files.

Set the size and style in 3D. The designer works out every part, every hole and every slat position, then gives the workshop what it needs to make it: cut and edge list, shop drawings, DXF files for your CNC, hardware and assembly steps.

Free to design. Pay once per product when you need the files. No subscription.

What you get for each job

Everything comes from the same design, so the list, the drawings and the drilling always agree.

Cut and edge list

Every part with its size, quantity, edging (L1, L2, W1, W2) and notes. CSV for your nesting software, PDF for the bench.

Shop drawings

Elevation, section, plan details at both ends, slat positions measured from the end, and a part schedule. A3 or A4.

DXF drilling files

One file per part, in mm, with dowel, screw and pilot holes on layers named by diameter and depth. Face and edge drilling.

Hardware list

Dowels, screws, glue, fixing angles, edge tape and a sheet count that allows for your saw cut.

Assembly steps

Step-by-step for the workshop and the install crew, with part codes and quantities.

3D pictures

Save a picture of the screen in the client's finish to send with your quote.

Built the way workshops build

Not a generic shape tool. The options are the ones you'd argue about in the workshop.

  • Ends: hollow box posts that can go round a column, single panels, or none.
  • Plates: box section or single panel, top and bottom.
  • Box joints: choose which boards run full width, and set the others back so edge tape with a radius doesn't show a raw edge.
  • Slats: spaced by gap or centres, locked or evened out, square or turned to an angle.
  • Long screens: split into sections between slats, never on one, with open, double-end, shared-post or plug-in joins. Set a max section length for site access, and check sections against a door or lift.
  • Corners and walls: mitred, corner posts or angled box ends, and ends angled to meet a wall.
  • Your sheets: usable sheet size and saw cut, so no part is longer than you can cut.
  • Steel cores in standard SHS sizes, sized to fit inside the posts.
A shop drawing sheet: front elevation, section, plan details of both ends and notes

How it works

  1. Design it, free. Set the size, ends, plates and spacing. See it in 3D, with previews of every output.
  2. Buy a plan once. Pay by card or XRP. Your licence key arrives by email.
  3. Unlock a job. Name the job and unlock it. Download everything, and change it as often as you like for 30 days.

Pricing

One payment per product. No subscription. Upgrade any time for the difference. Local tax (GST, VAT) is added at checkout where it applies.

A job is one job name. Re-downloads and changes to the same job are free for 30 days. XRP is priced from the USD price at the day's rate.

Questions

Will the DXF files work with my CNC?

They're plain DXF (R12) in mm, one per part, with the part's corner at 0,0. Each hole type is on its own layer named by its diameter and depth, for example VDRILL_D8_Z12 for an 8 mm hole 12 mm deep in the face. Most CAM software can map layers to drilling operations. The designer's drilling tab lists the layer names before you buy.

What counts as a job?

Each new job name you unlock uses one job. For 30 days after that, you can change that job and download its files as often as you like. Lite has 10 jobs, Standard 40, Pro unlimited for 12 months.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. You pay the difference, keep the same key, and keep the jobs you've used.

Do you do imperial?

Yes. Switch to inches in Settings. You can type 47 1/4 or 3' 11 1/4". Drilling files stay in mm, which is what CNC machines expect.

Can I use my own board sizes?

Yes. Set the usable sheet size (inside the chipped edge) and your saw cut. No part is ever longer than the sheet. Board thickness from 16 to 33 mm.

Why pay with XRP?

It's optional. Card works too. XRP payments settle in seconds with no card fees, and every licence is recorded on the XRP Ledger, signed, with no personal details, so it can be checked by anyone.

What if it's not right for my shop?

Design and preview everything free first. If the files don't work for you, email within 14 days of buying and before using more than 2 jobs, and we'll refund you. See the terms.
